The wireless revolution is here! SRAM and Rockshox are ready to capitalize. Introducing SRAM Eagle AXS, a Wireless electronic Eagle 12-Speed Drivetrain now available to all. Eagle XX1 AXS & Eagle X01 AXS have been released! Not only that, but Rockshox has released the Reverb AXS Dropper Post, an electronic wireless dropper-post designed to ease installation and improve performance. The debut of a completely wireless mountain bike drivetrain and dropper seatpost have been brewing for some time, but now that it is finally here, we can confirm that it was worth the wait. We were lucky enough to spend some time on the new electronic kit and so far have been seriously impressed with the performance, response, and the ability to customize your setup. Wireless electronic shifting from Sram is something we have been waiting for since the first spy shots we saw of this new groupo on Nino Schurter’s XC race bike months back. Is eShifting the future for all mountain bikes? Or all bicycles in general? Eagle AXS XX1 and X01 are out in the wild now so only time will tell.
