My Ender 5 continues its journey to being an enclosed 3D printer for using ABS, Polycarbonate and Nylon. In this video, I create a custom electronics box to house either an SKR V1.3 or MKS Gen L mainboard, and show you how to install both.
This box is designed for my specific purposes, mainly using cool air from outside of the soon to be heated enclosure. It is a lot of printing so if you want a very simple converter mount, this is included in the Thingiverse link too.
The next Ender 5 video will be on the lid and heated build chamber. After that I’ll do some testing of the high temperature filaments.
