삼성, 3년간 반도체 투자 인텔의 1.5배
Samsung Electronics has spent more on semiconductors than any of its global competitors over the past few of years… as it bids to lead the global market.
According to market researcher IC Insights Thursday,… the South Korean tech giant’s capital expenditure on semiconductors from 2017 to 2019 amounted to 65-point-eight billion U.S. dollars.
Intel, the world’s second largest spender, spent 43-billion dollars over the same period.
Samsung plans to make massive investments in memory chip infrastructure to prepare for long-term chip demand in the future.
Other leading chipmakers are also expected to have increased their investments.
