A South Korean court has punished Samsung Electronics vice chairman Jay Y Lee to two-and-a-half years in jail, with implications for the instructions of the innovation giant and just how Koreans view huge organization.
Lee, 52, was convicted of approaching an associate of previous President Park Geun-hye as well as incarcerated for 5 years in 2017. He rejected misbehavior, the sentence was minimized and suspended on allure, and he was released after offering a year.
