Today I review a large diaphragm condenser mic from sE Electronics; the sE 2200a II C. This mic has a relatively flat frequency response, which is great. It will give you a more accurate to life representation of what you’re recording, but you will likely need to do some post processing to shape the tone you want. It also has a -10dB pad and a low cut filter which rolls off around 60Hz. All around it sounds great for the price if you’re looking for a neutral & uncolored mic.
