Active Components:
In Electronics engineering active components are components which requires an external power supply source to operate in a circuit are called Active components.
Example of active components are Diode, Transistor and SCR etc.
Passive Components:
Passive components are components which do not requires any external source of power supply to operate in a circuit are called passive components.
Example of passive components are Resistor, Capacitor and Inductor etc.
