삼성•LG, OLED TV로 맞대결 프리미엄 TV 시장 대세
Competition in the premium OLED TV market is expected to heat up in South Korea as Samsung Electronics makes a comeback in the space after a 10-year hiatus.
According to Yonhap News Agency citing industry sources on Tuesday, Samsung Electronics will begin rolling out QD-OLED TV models which use Samsung’s quantum-dot technology, alongside Neo QLED 8K TVs and Neo QLED TVs domestically on Thursday.
LG Electronics, which has a 60 percent market share of the global OLED market, is also planning to launch new OLED TVs sometime next week.
