A breadboard is a solderless device for temporary prototype with electronics and test circuit designs. Most electronic components in electronic circuits can be interconnected by inserting their leads or terminals into the holes and then making connections through wires where appropriate. The breadboard has strips of metal underneath the board and connect the holes on the top of the board. The metal strips are laid out as shown below. Note that the top and bottom rows of holes are connected horizontally and split in the middle while the remaining holes are connected vertically.
A tutorial on how to make an LED chaser circuit / sequential LED flasher using 555 timer IC, CD4017 IC on a breadboard. Working of the circuit is explained at the end of this video.

Components Required:
* 555 Timer IC
* CD 4017 IC
* LED Lights x10
* Resistors: 470R, 1K, 47K
* Capacitor: 1uF
* Breadboard
* Lot of Breadboard Connectors
* Power Supply: (5-15)V
NOTE: If you are using a power source more than 9V, use 1K resistor in place of 470R.

This video shows you how to make a simple touch sensor switch on a breadboard using transistors. This circuit can be coupled with a latch and a relay to operate electronic appliances with the touch of a finger.
The components you need to build this circuit are:
* 2 BC547 transistors (or any other npn transistor)
* Resistors: 270 Ohm, 100 KOhm
* LED
* Breadboard Connectors
* Breadboard
* 6V Power Supply
