Today we’re gonna take a quick look at the replacement black gasket for Command Electronics Hot Line LED Trailer Back Up Light. This is going to be a new gasket for your lights so you can get that mounted up and have a nice, secure seal on the back of your light. It does have some adhesive at the back, so if you just pull this backing tape off, you can stick that onto your trailer. You just want to make sure that you clean that off really well. Maybe use a little isopropyl alcohol or some soapy water or something to clean it off and then you can attach your new gasket and just press it into place. Maybe press and hold for a few seconds to make sure it gets a good adhesion. Now, again, this is going to be for the Command Electronics Hot Line LED Backup Light. That part number is 328-003-6017W.
That’s also available here at etrailer.com if you need to pick up a new light as well.As far as our dimensions, the gasket is going to measure 15 1/4 inch overall. It’s gonna be about one and a quarter inch wide and about three eighths of an inch thick. That’s gonna do it for our look at the replacement black gasket for Command Electronics Hot Line LED Trailer Backup Light.

Speaker 1: Today we’re going to take a look at, and show you how to install, the Command LED clearance, or side marker, light with chrome bezel offering two diodes and a red lens, part number is 328-003-19R. Here you can see our light installed. I really like the chrome bezel the way it comes around there. I think it gives the light a nice look. We’ve got our two attachment points there. Really, a straightforward easy light to install.
You’re going to have two wires, one for ground, one for power. Now, you’ll notice this is an LED light. I really like the idea of the newer LED lights that we see going on a lot of trucks and trailers.Basically, they’re going to last a lot longer. You’re not going to have to worry about those filaments breaking and having to go through the bulb changes. Also, they don’t use as much energy, so we’re not drawing as much power from the vehicle.
And, overall, nice and clean and bright light. You’ll be able to see it from a long way and it can really update the look of a truck or trailer. All of those same things can be said for the amber light. The amber light should be in front of your tire on your trailer or, of course, on the front of your trailer for clearance lights. There’s lots of little different uses for the amber light. Here, we’re doing it on the front corner of our flatbed.
Now, the red lens and amber lens are going to be sold separately, of course. Really, we like to replace them in pairs, so you can keep the look of it the same. Especially if you’re going from an incandescent light to an LED, there can be a big difference in their looks. Now, to give you an idea on dimensions. It’s going to be three-quarters of inch from the front edge of the light to the back. From the very bottom of our bezel to the top, we’re looking at about an inch and thirteen-sixteenths.
It will stick up, off our mounting surface, by about seven-eights of an inch. Also, the screw holes for our attachment points, these are going to be on one and seven-eighths inch centers. Now, we’re going to take our light. We want our wires to go through our mounting surface, there. You see, we’ve got a couple holes drilled out there. Now, these lights are going to come with sheet metal screws. I think in a lot of applications those are going to work out well, but, for one, our holes are a little bit too big for these to work. You can see they just pass through. But, also, going through a piece of steel this thick, you’re going to have a challenge with these. So something else we found that work, little pan-head screws, or little pan-head bolts. These are a number six. You see, they fit in there really nicely. We’re using stainless steel just to eliminate any issues with rusting and that. I’m going to place those through. On the backside we’re going to put on a flat washer. We’re going to put on a lock washer. And we’re going to put on a nut. Now, on one of your two bolts you want to place on the ring terminal for your ground. We’ll place it right over and we’ll put on our washers. Again, we’re using a flat washer and a lock washer. We can place on the nut. Do the same for the other side, there. We’re just going to use our Phillips to get that tightened down. All right, nice and secure. Last thing we’ll need to hook up is our power lead. That’s going to go to our running light wire, right there. We’ll just tie that in, right there. We’ll trim our running light wire. Let’s strip both of these back. Now we’re going to take the ends of those and we’re going to twist these together. Now, this is going to be in lieu of a quick splice connector. We’re just going to use a butt connect

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at an LED RV porch or utility light. This oval RV light serves as a porch or utility light. It can be used as a hitch or task light as well as a porch light. It’s a really nice design. We’re looking at an LED system. Now LED’s are designed to really save on energy, they burn brighter, so they make great replacements for incandescent lights because they last longer, they’re brighter, and they’re more efficient. Also with LED’s you don’t have to worry about replacing bulbs.
And you don’t have to worry about brittle filaments. This unit features a really nice clear lens, allows plenty of light to come through, and it sits on a black plastic base. Now the base mounts on a flat surface and then it angles the light at a downward angle. It’s a two wire design. So you have your black wire, which is your power wire and your white wire, which is your ground wire.
It’s made in the U.S.A. You will need some hardware to attach the light to the base. And then you’ll need hardware to mount the base to the installation surface. So these right here are the mount holes for the base. You access those from the front of the unit. And then the wires feed through that center hole, lines up, for a really nice design.
Now when it comes to the dimensions of the unit, we’re gonna start off by taking the dimensions of the base. Edge to edge going this direction is about seven and one quarter inches, measures two inches edge to edge this direction, and then the overall depth that’s how far it sticks out from the installation surface, that’s one and three quarter inches. The light itself has an overall length measurement of six inches, and edge to edge this direction is an inch and a quarter. The mount holes on the base are separated on center by three and three quarter inches. The mount holes on the light are separated on center by four and three quarter inches. We’re gonna go ahead and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it.
We’ll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. And the black wires our power wire.White wires are ground wire. So you can see here, the light sends out a really nice, strong, consistent signal. It’s a very bright light. It contains a total of four LED’s or four diodes, so the multi diode design. Really helps optimize the overall light output and that clear lens allows plenty of light to come through for a nice, bright design overall. That’s gonna do it for today’s look at the LED RV porch and utility light.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at a two-wire pigtail wiring harness for trailer lights. This pigtail with the two-prong plug allows you to wire your light to your trailer. This is designed specifically for use with side marker, clearance, and utility lights. The wiring runs straight out of the back of the plug housing. It features the male pin two-prong PL-10 molded plastic plug. It connects directly to the back of a trailer light.
It’s a two-wire design, so you have your white wire for ground, red wire for power. Then on the white wire we do have a number 10 ring terminal for establishing a good ground connection. You just use a grounding screw, take it through there directly into the trailer frame. Wire length is around 12 inches long, and it uses 18 gauge wiring. That’s going to do it for today’s look at the two-wire pigtail for trailer lights..

Speaker 1: Today we’re takin’ a look at an LED triple taillight. This rectangular trailer light serves four functions. These right here are your taillights, each one of these serve as a stop light, a turn signal light, and taillight, and in here in the center, you have your backup light, this is white LEDs.Now LEDs are made to last longer, burn brighter, and be more efficient especially when compared to incandescent lights, so these make great replacements for incandescent lights. With LEDs, you don’t have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don’t have to worry about brittle filaments. It’s a surface mount installation, so it mounts directly on the surface of your trailer, of your application, mounting hardware not included. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.
We do have a reflector strip built in right here. It can be mounted or oriented horizontally or vertically, whatever suits your application. Now each taillight has a three wire design, so you have your reds which are for stop and turn, your blacks which are for your taillight, and then your whites which are for your ground wires, and then the backup light is a two wire design that’s black and white, so white is ground, black is power. When it comes to the overall dimensions, I did take some measurements for ya. Edge to edge going this direction was 14 inches long, going this direction edge to edge measured 6 and 7/8th inches, and the overall thickness or depth is only about one inch, so it’s a nice low profile unit. Then it has a mounting gasket that goes in between the light and the mounting surface.
Creates a nice tight seal and offers some cushion behind the actual light.I’m gonna go and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. I’m gonna show you the taillight functions first, so I’m gonna put both of my ground wires together here. Then my taillight is just my main power feed and then my stop and turn. Let’s go ahead and see what that looks like.So this is the taillight function, you can see it sends out a nice consistent signal. When we apply our breaks, you can see how that signal output increases, it’ll also do that same thing when we activate our turn signals.
I’m gonna go ahead and show you the backup light, or the reverse light. Again, that has a white wire for ground, and then black wire for the main power feed on that. So you can see there when the reverse gear is activated that nice bright white light shows up.Now as you can tell on this unit, it features multiple LEDs, each unit, each light has a multi-LED or a multi-diode design, and that really helps optimize the overall light output of the unit. That’s gonna do it for today’s look at the LED triple taillight.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at an LED trailer license plate light with mounting bracket. This molded bracket holds your license plate securely. So whether you’re installing this on a trailer, on a hitch mounted cargo carrier, whatever the application may be, this is gonna do a great job at holding your license plate. It also has the integrated LED lights to illuminate the plate for easy visibility in low light settings. Has a nice clear lens on it so it allows plenty of light to come through. It’s a surface mount installation. Two mount holes.
One right here and one right here. Those are separated on center by three inches. Mounting hardware not included, but it does come with hardware to attach the license plate to the bracket. It’s a two wire design. So black wire is your power wire, white wires are ground wire.
It’s made from a durable plastic construction. Black in color. And it is designed to work with standard size license plates. When it comes to the overall measurements of the unit, going edge to edge this direction is about eight and three eighths inches, top to bottom is about two and a half inches, and the overall depth from back to front is also about two and half inches. That’s how far it sticks out from the installation surface. Now when you’re ready to attach your license plate, you place it on here, line up the holes, and then what I like to do on this type of bracket is we need to take these nuts and place them on the backside first.
It’s got these grooves that the nuts can sit in. So we put those in and then what we’ll do is we’ll attach our hardware from the front. So you just take a screw. We’ll place it in. You want it to line up with the nut.
And then we can just hand tighten it for now. We’ll just get that started. We’ll get it started on the other side too. Then after I get this done I’ll go ahead and show you what it looks like with power running to it and we can light it up. And we’ll also turn off the overhead light so you can see it in a true low light setting. So once you get them started, you can finish the tightening process by using a phillips head screwdriver. Just wanna get it nice and tight, nice and secure. And so that’s what it looks like with a license plate mounted to it. Really nice design. And then when we run power to it, you can see how well it does at illuminating the actual plate. So you can see there, it sends light at a downward angle illuminating license plate for easy visibility. And it does a great job at broadcasting light all the way across the face of the actual license plate. And that’s gonna do it for today’s look at the LED trailer license plate light with mounting bracket.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at a trailer license plate holder with integrated LED lighting. This molded frame holds your trailer’s license plate and it also has the integrated LED light, which shines in a downward angle to illuminate the plate directly below it for easy visibility. So we have a license plate here. This is our etrailer plate. As you can see, it would fit directly in the holder. Gives it a really nice, clean look. It’s gonna hold it really well.
It does come with hardware to attach the license plate to the holder.Mounts directly to the surface of your trailer. This is designed to work with a standard sized license plate. When it comes to the wiring, it’s a two wire design. White wire’s ground, black wire’s power. The license plate holder is polar white in color.
It’s made from a durable plastic construction. It does measure about 15 1/2 inches long by 9 1/2 inches tall. The overall depth from back to the outermost point of the unit is about 3 inches deep. We’re going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then we’ll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it at a lower light setting. So you can see here that this light sends out a nice clear, consistent signal.
With our license plate on there, you can see how that does a great job at illuminating the license plate in low light conditions for easy visibility. That’s gonna do it for today’s look at the trailer license plate holder with integrated LED lighting.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at a LED interior light. Now, this is a battery operated light. It requires one 9-volt battery, which is not included. His white dome light provides bright light for your trailers interior. It features long-lasting LEDs, and LEDs are great replacements for incandescent lights. What I want to do is I got power running to it, so I’m going to go ahead and turn it on. Then we’ll turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a low light setting.
It does have the on and off switch, located right here. That’s easy to access and easy to operate. You can see here that the unit sends out a nice, clear, consistent signal. It’s got white LEDs in there and the clear lens allows plenty of light to come through.LEDs also have a very fast response time, meaning that it doesn’t take long from the time you hit the button for the light to actually appear. It’s instantaneous.
Really nice design that’s another upgrade, like if you’re comparing this to incandescent lights, LEDs have a much faster response time to them. They’re long lasting. They burn brighter and they’re more efficient. Also, with LEDs, you don’t have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. So again, it has the on and off switch for simple operation. It is a surface mount design so you have multiple mount holes here on the back.
You gain access to those by removing the lens. This is just a snap on lens, so you can pinch it and then you can easily remove it to gain access to the mount holes. Mounting hardware not included. And again, the does require one 9-volt battery for operation. It plugs into the connection points and sends power to the light. When it comes to the measurements of the unit, edge to edge going this direction, we’re looking at about 5 1/2 inches.
Going this direction, we’re looking at about 2 7/8 inches. And the overall depth, that’s how far it sticks out from the installation surface, that’s about 1 7/8 inch deep. Brightness on the unit is 51 lumens, and overall, it’s a nice design. Again, clear lens, black plastic base gives it a really nice, clean look. This would be a great light anywhere where you need some extra light. The benefit of it being battery operated is that you don’t have to tie it into an electrical system and you don’t have to hard wire it into another wiring source. That’s going to do it for today’s look at the LED interior light.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at an LED Courtesy Light. This courtesy light may be used for a variety of applications. It’s great for RVs and boats, and it’s great for walkways and stairways. It mounts permanently. Mounting hardware is not included, but it does have the two mount holes for an easy installation. Has a nice black housing, so it offers a very clean, sleek look once installed, and it features a cool white LED. When it comes to the wiring, it’s a two-wire design.
Your white wire’s your ground wire. Your black wire is your power wire. We’re going to take a look at the dimensions real quick, and then we’ll hook it up to power, so you can see what it looks like with power running to it.Going edge to edge in this direction, it measures about one and five eighths inches wide. The overall depth, that’s how far it sticks out from the installation surface, is only about a half inch deep. And the overall length, going this direction, measures about two inches, maybe two and one sixteenth, right in that area.
The mount holes on the unit are separated straight across from one another by about one and one eighth, to one and three sixteenth inches. The power draw is 0.02 amps. We’re going to hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We’ll, also, turn off our overhead lights so you can see it a lower light setting. You can see here that it sends out a nice consistent signal.
Now one of the things with courtesy lights, is that they’re not extremely bright, and that’s just because they’re designed to illuminate an area directly below where the light’s installed.Again, this is going to be great for RVs and boats. We see these a lot in walkways, such as a hallway, or we see them, oftentimes, in stairways. They illuminate the area, where you’re walking, in low light conditions, making it safer and making it more visible. That way, you can easily take your next step with confidence. That’s going to do it for today’s look at the LED Courtesy Light.

Speaker 1: Today we’re taking a look at a Hot-Line LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light. This amber light serves as a clearance or side marker light for your trailer. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter and they’re more efficient. With LEDs, you don’t have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. This unit features a polycarbonate lens and housing. It’s very strong and durable.
Has a nice clear lens with amber LEDs and it’s a two-wire design, so you’re white wire is your ground wire, yellow wire is your power wire. It mounts directly on the surface of your trailer. It’s got a mount hole located on each side of the unit. Mounting hardware not included. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant. It’s made in the USA and it does feature a sealed design here at the wiring so that way it’s protected from the elements. Now, I did take an overall length measurement.
I measured from very edge to very edge and got a measurement of 15 and one quarter inches long. Edge to edge going this direction is an inch and a quarter wide or tall. The overall depth is about a half inch deep. We’re going to go and hook it up to power and we’ll also turn off our overhead light so you can see what it looks like. So you can see here that it sends out a nice consistent signal, again, it is an LED system. This bar or strip contains three LEDs or three diodes, so the multi-diode design really helps optimize the light output of the unit.
Again, those LEDs are amber in color and the clear lens allows plenty of light to come through. That’s going to do it for today’s look of the Hot-Line LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light.
