A little fully reversible modification. The initial design was to keep the amp clean/quiet. Not sure why they decided to do this, but to appreciate the full capability of your Champ, I have the solution. My modification by itself will improve performance. However for ultimate performance, a complete capacitor replacement is recommended. So, send your Champ to my shop. I will ensure it is performing above original specifications.
